Yep, someone asked Bill Belichick about Tommy Brady jumping off some cliff this summer on one of his tropical vacations. Blah, blah, blah. Thing is, this is a smart move from the reporter who asked the question. You’re guaranteed to get a quote because Bill can’t possibly let this go. Of course he’s going to shove a microphone up the reporter’s ass. It’s Bill being Bill.
Patriots coach Bill Belichick was asked about Brady’s activities, and the coach was not too happy.
“We have rules. There are NFL rules and then there are club rules,” Belichick said. “And those are handled between the club and the league and players.
“I don’t want to comment on any of our club rules or any discipline we have. It’s all handled internally … Wherever anything falls, it’s between the club and the player.”
“I mean, do we have any football questions?” asked the coach before the press conference moved on.
Next question – “How would you rate Bob Kraft’s acting in that video for his girlfriend’s audition in the Vince Vaughn movie?”
Wait, you’re not going to answer that question?
Ok, let’s try again.
“Did you see the photo where Gronk has a 16-year-old nearly making out with the NFL’s highest paid tight end?”
Now that’s a football question. No?
Ok, try again.
“What was your reaction to Gronk’s reaction on that Fox show when he finds out that the girl is a virgin? Funny sh*t, right?”
What? That’s not a football question?
Ok, this is a football question.
“What was your reaction in the offseason when Gronk said he wanted to eff Tebow to take his virginity? How does that affect the rivalry this season between you and the Jets?”
