First Known Miami Marlins Hat Bank Robbery In Minnesota [Cuff 'Em]
Yet another first in Busted Coverage Cuff ‘Em history. Back in March, we told you about the first known new Marlins’ hat logo bank robbery in Connecticut. It was believed to be the first Miami Marlins baseball hat robbery in United States history. Now we have a bro ripping off a bank in Minnesota wearing the orange Miami Marlins hat.
The robbery happened at the Guaranty Bank inside a Rainbow Foods grocery store on the 8000 block of Brooklyn Boulevard at about 10:30 a.m. Monday.
A black male in an orange baseball cap approached the teller and gestured as though he was carrying a weapon. Though no weapon was actually displayed, the teller gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police said the robber was about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and was also wearing purple rubber gloves. He was believed to have headed toward the Brooklyn Park Evangelical Free Church after the robbery.
Purple gloves? And a Marlins hat? In Minnesota?
Gonna be one of the hardest cases to bust this summer.
