Wes Welker’s Wife, Anna Burns, Sent Us A Nasty Wedding Gift Thank You Note

Just happened to check the Busted Coverage mailbox this afternoon and guess what was waiting for us? Yep, a wedding gift “thank you” note from Mrs. Wes Welker. You might remember how we were the first to report on the Welker online wedding registry. Yes, we bought the couple an avocado tool because it was reasonably priced & the general thought was that Wes would actually use it.

Well, it seems Anna Burns Welker (former Ms. Hooters International) didn’t like our gift message, which referenced her new husband’s botched 4th quarter catch that would’ve sealed SB XLVI.

Look, first of all, kudos to Anna for the quick response. The couple has only been married a couple weeks and she’s already firing off thank you wedding gift notes. Of course she could have ignored us and our gift message. Of course she could have just overlooked our message about SB XLVI.

Deep down I think she might actually be a fan.
