3 Spurs Fans Arrested For That Game 2 Thunder Fan Curb Stomping [Cuff 'Em]
Remember the Spurs vs. Thunder Game 2 brawl that happened just before the 4th quarter? Yeah, the one where Thunder fan was sucker punched and then women started brawling? It seems San Antonio police got involved and three combatants were taken to jail, including 35-year-old Diana Galvan. And she turned in one of the hottest sporting event arrest photos – EVER!
Ushers and Bexar County sheriff’s deputies broke up the fight, which was recorded by a nearby game attendee and by TNT’s cameras. Three Spurs fans, a woman and two men, were arrested on charges of assault with bodily injury.
Ariel Martinez, 32; his wife Diana Galvan, 35, and Eloy Gonzalez, 40, all were released from Bexar County Jail after posting $2,500 bail each.
Then, Gonzalez said, the Thunder fan punched him in the back of the neck and the two began to brawl. As they exchanged blows, the pair rolled over seats and landed in front of Martinez and Galvan, who were sitting with their 18-year-old son and two daughters, ages 13 and 19.
“I got pushed, so I started pushing back and there was a bunch of commotion going on,” Martinez said. Then, the couple said, they saw the Thunder fan in front of their son, looking like he was about to throw a punch.
Martinez punched the Thunder fan, and then a female Thunder fan and Galvan joined the melee, which was over in seconds.
Pretty sure that’s Galvan in the black throwing bombs on Thunder fan. We’re still efforting info on this Galvan chick because something doesn’t add up. So she was 16 when the one daughter was born and Ariel, the husband, was 13? Am I reading that correctly? What am I missing here? Step-children? Adopted?
