Remember that Boston Red Sox 100th anniversary game a couple weeks ago where Kevin Millar & Pedro Martinez appeared to be hammered? The big news for us in that game was that the Sox were wearing plain white hats. No logo or writing. We figured it was just a matter of time before a Baseball Cap Bank Robber used one to confuse the fuzz.

Guess what we think happened in Florida on Friday? Throwback robber!

Via the Miami Herald:

The FBI released a photograph of a robbery suspect who robbed a Bank of America branch in Lauderdale Lakes.

The robber entered the bank at 3661 W. Oakland Park Blvd. at around 5:15 p.m. Friday and demanded money, according to the FBI.

In the photo, taken from surveillance footage, the suspect appears to be a white man wearing a white baseball cap and a long sleeved black shirt.

We’re pretty sure that’s the 1912 throwback. Only thing that confuses us is the black rim. Might just be the grainy surveillance video playing games with our heads.
