At least she wasn’t texting or putting on lipstick at the time.

Still, Danica Patrick’s first Sprint Cup race didn’t end quite how she planned. Typical of a woman behind the wheel, Patrick crashed on the final lap of the Gatorade Duel after Aric Almirola slammed into her. Patrick was injury-free after the incident.

She was running at the back of the pack at the time, so it didn’t really cost her anything. In fact, the crash allowed teammate Tony Stewart to claim the win over Dale Earnhardt Jr.
