Not sure what finally made Nomar Garciaparra unload his Whittier, California childhood home, but it’s on the market and can be all yours for only $595,000. Documents show that Nomar & Mia Hamm took ownership of the one-story house in 2010. His father bought it for $44,500 in 1976. Will your kid eventually hit .300 and drive in 120 if he sleeps in Nomar’s room? Of course not.

Virtual Globetrotting says this is where Nomar & Mia currently live. You can kinda see why the old house just needs to find a new owner. Just think of all the nostalgia. The mirrors where Nomar practiced his crazy batting stance/batter’s box ritual. Has to be a selling point.

Highlights of Nomar’s Hacienda:

• 4 bed, 3 bath

• 2,786 sq. ft.

• Master bath has hot tub!

• Basketball hoop we figure Nomar used during high school (pay asking price & he’ll probably sign it)

• That Spanish style that’s all the rage these days

• Hidden treasures Nomar buried at age 10

Asking price: $595,000

Mortgage: $2,200 before taxes
