Picking Your Nose At Super Bowl In SI’s 1,700 Megapixel Photo: Priceless!

It was brought to our attention this morning that the photographers at Sports Illustrated constructed a gigantic panoramic photo of Sunday’s Super Bowl and that it was a 1,700 megapixel image. What does that all mean? It means that you can use a zoom to look around Lucas Oil Stadium and see what people were doing during the 3rd quarter. Within 20-seconds of looking around we found NY Giants Nose Picker.

SI defines their Super Bowl Gigapan photo project as:

Sports Illustrated photographer David Bergman and Josh Lehrer created this Gigapan during the New York Giants 21-17 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN. The image is made up of 364 individual photos (28 across by 13 down) taken over a 37-minute span in the third quarter. The final high-resolution image is 73,636 x 23,384 pixels, or 1,721 megapixels.

Blah, blah, blah. Let’s get down to business. Who is NY Giants Nose Picker? We know he’s in Section 101, Row 13. Let’s properly recognize him for this achievement that’ll go into the SI archives and be found by kids 40, 50, 60 years who are researching for Super Bowl projects.
