Elin Nordegren Destroys $12,000,000 Home [Photos]

It looks like Elin Nordegren is enjoying that Tiger Woods divorce settlement money just fine.

Nordegren decided to level the $12 million Florida mansion she bought less than a year ago, so she could rebuild her own dream house on the lot. That’s right. Instead of selling the home and building on a new lot, Nordegren decided to demolish it and rebuild a new home where the old one stood.

The old home, which is pictured, was 9,000 square feet and sported six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The wizards at TMZ tell us the rest.

We’re told Nordegren has hired a high-priced architect to build her dream home … and sources say every single worker is required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

No word on how long the project is expected to take — but we’re told Elin is living in a nearby mansion inside the private community while the new place is under construction.

Nordegren got $100 million in her divorce settlement with Woods. We’re sure he’s pleased that she’s pretty much wasting it.
