How Pedobear Stole Show At Penn State Bowl Game [PHOTOS]

This one is for our boss in NYC, Coed’s BryJax. He has deep ties to the University of Texas, went to school there and never fails to mention how awesome UT is. So he’s going to wake up tomorrow morning, cruise Busted and see how a UT fan was the mastermind behind yesterday’s Pedobear costume at the Ticket City Bowl featuring Penn State. Nothing turns a meaningless bowl game into an Internet legend like a Pedobear posing with the locals.

The story of how Pedobear ended up at the game started in early December on Shaggy Bevo when Ghost of LL posted his manifesto.

I have squirreled away this idea for the time being, because it’s no secret that the trolls from Penn State are too upset about this to think with an unclouded mind.

They think this is a shameful idea. I’ll tell you what is shameful. The conspiracy undertaken by the staff and administrators of The Pennsylvania State University to cover up the rape of children so as not to damage its precious football program is shameful. The record is clear on this count. For a decade, Penn State employees, agents, trustees, and officers–from the janitor to the president of the university all the way up to the Lord High Football Coach–knew that Jerry Sandusky was raping children, and doing so on Penn State property. And the only remedial action they took is to ask him nicely to do it elsewhere.

The Pedobear costume idea was born and came to fruition in front of an unsuspecting crowd of curious, unknowing Internet rookies. Don’t know what Pedobear is/stands for? Not even providing you a link. Go Google it for yourself.

So after further reflection, I cannot in good conscience allow a bunch of child rape enablers to come to the historic Cotton Bowl and think for a minute that we approve of their kiddie sodomizing ways (or the cover-up thereof). Coupled with the fact that the pedobear costume arrived this morning from China, and we are a go for Operation Ticket City Pedobear.

And the rest is history. The Houston Chronicle couldn’t help themselves. Same with the NY Daily News. Both giving ridiculous definitions of Pedobear to their rookie Internet readers.

There are blog moments you don’t soon forget. There are epic fan fights. There are bikinis that haunt you in the middle of the night. There are wild nights of Tebowing, planking, Darren Rovell defending Ohio State football players’ need for Twitter accounts, etc. But nothing in the last 12 months on this site can rival what UT fan pulled off yesterday. He made his point, documented it fairly well, had the balls to pull it off and will forever go down as the first Pedobear at a Penn State bowl game.

Of course we’ll never forget.
