Redskins Owner Dan Snyder Buys $70 Million Yacht [Photos]

Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder just forked over an estimated $70 million to purchase The Lady Anne, a 224-foot luxury yacht.

The yacht is one of the 100 largest in the world and carried an asking price of $86 million. The estimated sale price is about half the price it cost to build the boat, according to the Washington Post.

• Houses 16 guests and 22 crew

The yacht was formerly owned and built by Jerome and Anne Fisher, who co-founded Nine West. The Fishers lost much of their fortune in the Bernie Madoff investment scandal.

Snyder bought the yacht as part of an investment group.
