Cardinals Apparently Clinched NL Central, Not Wild Card [Photos]

Unbeknownst to the Milwaukee Brewers and the rest of the baseball world, for that matter, the St. Louis Cardinals didn’t clinch the National League Wild Card on Wednesday.

Nope, they clinched the National League Central.

That’s right, the St. Louis Cardinals are your 2011 NL Central champs… at least according to the St. Louis Cardinals.

Actually, the Brewers finished six games ahead of the Cardinals in the standings, but someone in St. Louis decided to make and post some Budweiser posters in the locker room that said 2011 NL Central Champions.

Nice work, guys!
