Brad Marchand’s Misspelled Stanley Cup Tattoo: The Story Of How [Photos]
When the Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup, several players, including center Brad Marchand got tattoos that said Stanley Cup Champions on the side of their stomach.
Apparently, they got them right after the game because several players, including Marchand, stripped off their shirts at the post-game party and you can see them in the photos.
One problem with Marchand’s tat, though. The word champions was spelled with an A instead of an O.
It said Stanley Cup Champians.
Whoops!
“A bunch of us got tattoos here in the dressing room of the Garden,” Marchand says. “Mine originally was misspelled. Instead of saying Stanley Cup Champions, it said Stanley Cup Champians. I don’t even know how that happened. After I got it, I came in the room and someone was like it says champians…with an a. So I went back and the tattoo guy fixed it after that. It’s fixed now.”
Here’s more of Marchand partying it up with his misspelled tattoo.
