Frankly, we try not to jump on the heavily-American bandwagon that soccer is gay.
However, it just got a hell of a lot gayer with this video.
It’s not that we don’t appreciate the athleticism, the endurance and the gamesmanship of the world’s most popular sport. It’s just that us American’s like action, but not this kind of action… at least those of us who like the opposite sex.
If these asshats weren’t world-class soccer players, we’d be pretty sure this was the exposition to a gay porn film.
Instead, we’ve got three Chilean-born soccer players — Celta’s Fabián Orellana, FC Barcelona’s Alexis Sánchez, and Udinese’s Mauricio Isla — working some Backstreet Boys in an above-ground pool.
We’re not going to even comment on the music selection, the real question is why can’t these fools find a real pool? They play a professional sport! Surely someone in the neighborhood can afford a below-ground pool!
Only rednecks have above-round pools, fellas!

Premise of video: Hell… three Chilean dudes in an above-ground pool who happen to be world-class soccer players singing the Backstreet Boys badly.
Climax of video: It has to be when the cameraman feeds a soccer ball into the above-ground pool and one of these asshats does a leaping side kick. It sure as hell ain’t the music!
Conclusion: It’s like a train wreck. You have to look at it. Backstreet’s back, alright!
