Jail Guards Start Brawl At Hooters During Raiders-Broncos MNF Game [Cuff 'Em]
Never been to New Mexico? Let us break down the NFL fandome in that state. There is Broncos fan due to proximity. Then there is Raiders fan due to his desire to please his Latino Nation in California. And of course Cowboys fan just because. Of course you can guess what happened when the Broncos and Raiders got together on MNF. A brawl at an Albuquerque Hooters! And this wasn’t your run-of-the-mill drunken, unemployed whiteys going at it.
We have two corrections officers walk into the Hooters and they don’t leave until blood is splattered all over the fine furniture.
Police said a man ended up outside the Hooters on Alameda Boulevard near Coors Boulevard N.W. with a slash to his arm, but the fight started inside.
Police said the man was watching a football game when MDC guard Matthew Sedillo hit him over the head with a beer bottle then hit him again on the arm. Meanwhile another guard, Jonathan Garcia, sprayed pepper spray inside the restaurant.
Witnesses gave police a description of the vehicle the suspects took off in and a license plate number. Police arrested 22-year-old Sedillo, 23-year-old Garcia and another man, 22-year-old Gabriel Salaz at their homes. They are facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery charges.
MDC Chief Ramon Rustin commented on the arrests.
“We are public servants and we are supposed to obey the laws of the county and the state and when I have employees that don’t do that it does make me angry,” Rustin expressed.
Be sure to visit KOB and listen to the Hooters employee ho-hum a 911 call. So together. Not even phased by mace being sprayed on chicken wings.
Folks, it’s just Week 1. If the baseball season was any indication of America’s desire to start shit over sporting events, we are in for a helluva NFL season. Don’t blink.
