On July 2, police said the man robbed a Chase Bank branch inside of a Safeway grocery store on Canyon Road East.The same man is believed to also be responsible for the July 22 robbery of a Columbia Bank branch inside the Summit Trading Company grocery store, also located on Canyon Road East.In both robberies, the man entered the grocery store, walked up to the bank and handed the teller a note demanding cash and threatening violence, the Sheriff’s Department said.The robber took the cash and quickly walked out of the store.The man is described as white, 25 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 200 pounds.
