Alexander Ovechkin Does His Best Lady Gaga Impression [Photo]

Washington Capitals superstar Alexander Ovechkin has a message for you — “Look at me! Look at me! Look at me!”

Ovechkin channeled Lady Gaga with this getup at a Russian soccer match over the weekend.

During the break Ovechkin was invited to the field and with a roar from the crowd was given a Caucasian black cloak and hat, which he immediately put on. In addition, they tied an Anji scarf around his neck, that virtually initiated him to the fans of Makhachkala soccer club. Interestingly enough, a similar gift was given last year to the head coach of Zenith Luciano Spalletti.

As for Ovechkin, after the ceremony he had a great difficulty to get back to his place, so many wanted photographed with him, reports SE correspondent Sergei Zimmermann.

Ah, to be young, dumb, rich and causing soccer riots.
