Jim Tressel’s Front Yard Pep Rally Includes Vest Guaranteeing Victories [Photos]
There was a Jim Tressel pep rally yesterday in Columbus included song, chants, predictions and about 200 students and supporters thanking The Vest for lying to the NCAA. Media reports from the event say about 200 supporters marched in 90-degree heat from campus to Jim’s gated community to honor their disgraced coach. Of course Jim was home, dressed in OSU gear and ready to sing.
Former Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel told people at a rally on his front doorstep that he would always be a Buckeye and that the team will beat Michigan again this November.
After a crowd of some 200 people had sung a song disparaging the archrival Wolverines early Saturday evening, Tressel said, “Don’t forget: Nov. 27th we’re going to kick their ass!”
Said song was We Don’t Give A Damn For The Whole State Of Michigan. How do we know? iPhones were rolling.
There was also a “Let’s Go Jim” chant and Carmen Ohio which we encourage all Michigan fans to watch here.
Meanwhile, Terrelle Pryor hasn’t posted a single tweet since May 21. The old coach looks beaten down, ready to cut grass, sip lemonades with his wife and ride off into the sunset. Maybe Erin Andrews was right on Twitter a couple weeks ago. It’s kinda sad this is what has happened to college football.
“We’re going to be Buckeyes for life,” Tressel said, his arm around his wife. “What’s that old saying? Buckeye born and bred, a Buckeye ’til I’m dead.”
The crowd cheered when he finished.
