Tornadoes Vs. The Ballpark At Arlington: Fans Evacuated [Morning Twitpic]
Imagine your luck when you go to a May game at the Ballpark at Arlington and the Rangers staff offers up the chance to walk through the dugouts – for FREE! Fans attending last night’s White Sox-Rangers game were offered the chance or the opportunity to be swept away by tornadoes within striking distance of the ballpark. Fans took the free tour of the underbelly of the park. Smart move.
The storm moved through, left its hail and the game went on after a three-hour delay with Carlos Quentin going yard three times in a Sox victory.
Of course Ozzie Guillen kept things loose during the storm by updating followers of the situation via Twitter.
