RB Garrett Wolfe Arrested, Bloodied After Refusing To Pay Miami Beach Bar Bill

‚ By

And we have a winner for ‘NFL Running Back Mug Shot Of The Week’ thanks to Bears’ RB Garrett Wolfe not paying a bar tab at a Miami Beach bar. Dude is a free agent, refusing to pay a tab and then attacking off-duty police officers. In other words, as you’ll see, Wolfe’s NFL career is probably over, but he’ll always have this infamous arrest pic and those drunken eyes.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times:

The former Holy Cross High School and Northern Illinois star was arrested early Sunday and charged with retail theft, disorderly conduct, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest with violence, according to Miami-Dade County Police Department records and Miami Beach Police detective Juan Sanchez. His bond has been set at $11,500.

‘‘He became aggressive while being ejected by bouncers, and two off-duty officers were summoned,’’ Sanchez said. ‘‘They gave him the opportunity to settle his bill, and he refused. He attacked one of the officers. Both officers suffered minor
injuries.’’

Keep in mind that Wolfe is 5-7, 185.

Of course we went on a Twitter hunt to see what was doing with Wolfe and his boys Saturday in Miami. BINGO! Here we go!

So, why was Wolfe in Miami? To see the Heat-Bulls game.

No word on if the Chicago native and his boy who was partying with him Saturday night, D-Leaguer Tony Gipson, made it to last night’s Heat victory or if Wolfe remained in jail. Gipson’s tweets are protected and Wolfe has been silent since Saturday night.
