Eminem Will Have Super Bowl Commercial: Brisk Gives Rapper Freedom To Develop Own 30-Second Spot

…because we haven’t talked about Super Bowl XLV commercials this week.

Word on several commercials for Sunday’s Super Bowl is starting to leak out and the biggest news seems to be that Eminem, who has never been seen in mainstream advertisements, will be featured in a spot for Brisk.

Our sources tell us that this could be the commercial highlight of the year, combining star power and the creativity of Eminem and claymation, which is always huge.

The NY Post reports:

Eminem has struck a deal for a $1 million-plus Super Bowl spot to appear as a Claymation character in a Lipton Brisk iced-tea commercial. The ad, described by an insider as “very funny,” will give viewers a glimpse into a day in the life of the “8 Mile” star. The rap superstar has been preceded by Ozzy Osbourne and “Machete” star Danny Trejo, who are featured in the recently revived Brisk Claymation ads.

Yeah, Ozzy and Trejo are huge stars, but Brisk hit the Super Bowl commercial goldmine by landing Eminem. If AshleyMadison.com commercials are considered risqué on the sexy side, you can only imagine what the Detroit-based rapper created on the f-bomb, language side of things.

In case you aren’t familiar with Brisk’s commercials, the brand is known for it’s “That’s Brisk, Baby” claymations including the hilarious Ozzy pieces that are priceless.

If Eminem comes up with anything like this Super Bowl XLV might be a huge moment for Brisk and the Em brand.  Other companies who could have a big Sunday include GM, which has been absent the last couple years and of course Go Daddy.com. The big downer for the GoDaddy crowd is that they’ll partner Danica Patrick and Jillian Michaels from Biggest Loser.
