Gainesville police said anger over a breakup was the apparent reason Ashley Renee Oxendine threw the container holding the ashes of her ex-boyfriend’s mother through a window. She was retrieving some of her belongings Monday afternoon from the home where she had lived with her boyfriend for several years. [The suspect] picked up the urn containing the ashes and hurled it at a window, spilling some of the ashes and breaking the window, according to the police report.
