The University of Minnesota’s top basketball player â€” who already had been suspended an entire season after a previous run-in with the law â€” was arrested Monday for reportedly violating a restraining order against a St. Paul woman. Trevor Mbakwe, 21, was arrested in Minneapolis for allegedly violating the months-old harassment restraining order, a misdemeanor. The woman contacted St. Paul police Monday, saying that on Sunday, Mbakwe had posted a message on her Facebook page â€” which violated the restraining order.
