Chad Stephens, 31, was arrested and jailed Christmas Day after accused by his wife of punching his nine-year-old and pushing her when she tried to intervene. Police officials report that Stephens’ wife said her husband became upset with their children because of the mess they made while opening Christmas presents, leading to the altercation and the physical abuse.
