Last up was Michael Simpson, a 27-year-old junkyard worker from East Price Hill. Attorney John Weber said the victim had been drinking while Simpson was working, and when he got home they sat down to watch the big game. Simpson was arrested on allegations of domestic violence after police say he choked the woman, dragged her by the hair and pushed her into a wheelchair ramp.
“Things escalated and got out of hand,†Weber said.
