For some reason the NJ media are just getting around to this story that has been playing out since June. Donny Allieri is an 18-year-old who had hoped to start his freshman year at Villanova and play football.

Those plans have been put on hold as he stands accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s parents home and killing her 9-year-old dachshund and going on a jewels binge.

Pet lovers are off the rails pissed. Jewelry fans cannot be reached for comment.
