Now the details have surfaced as to why Robert Twist Jr. wasn’t in the mood to meet with police.
Sexual abuse of a minor charges have been filed.
Robert Twist Jr., 58, is now charged with sexually abusing a minor, as well as three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon stemming from the July 20 standoff at Johnson’s home at mile marker 87.8.
Throughout that day, Twist repeatedly yelled out the door that he did not want to live, and he wanted deputies to kill him, according to reports. Around 4:30 p.m., Twist came to the door with his hands behind his back and was arrested.
There is no word on a job opening at Johnson’s estate, but it seems one will need to be filled.
