5_22_clarett_1“Maurice Clarett, the former Ohio State running back who ran afoul of the law, was able to move from a prison cell to a dormitory step-down center after a Franklin County judge granted his request for early release yesterday.

A buff Clarett, 26, told Common Pleas Judge David W. Fais that he wants to finish his college education – possibly at Ohio State – and has a long-term plan of running a fitness center for geriatric clients.”

Oh, and he wouldn’t rule out a return to Ohio State. And a career in football. He’s only 26. Rumors swirling in Ohio has him signing a free agent contract with Cincinnati.
