It appears Pittsburgh Steelers fans can rest easy. The problems with Santonio Holmes seem, to us, to be the work of an amateur jersey chaser who failed at creating a controversy.
“The plaintiff, Anshonae Mills, is a senior at the University of Central Florida. Reached at her job yesterday, Ms. Mills declined comment and referred questions to her lawyer, Jacques L. Cooper.
Mr. Cooper, 25, who has been practicing law for four months, would not discuss the case but said he planned to release further information today.”
So let us get this straight.
Ms. Mills has hired a guy who’s only been practicing law for four months to represent her in a lawsuit against a NFL millionaire?
And, not to knock the hard working folks at Qdoba, but this chick is a lineserver at the faux Chipotle.
A quick check of Ms. Mills’ Internet record reveals a Linkedin profile that includes other jobs such as a cashier and deli clerk.
We understand these are tough times and money is scarce but this is the Pittsburgh Steelers we are talking about. They have enough shit hitting the fan for some trumped up charges over a glass being thrown. Pfffttt, sexual assault charges would have been the smarter play since that would have at least led to some opportunities on Good Morning America and Extra.
Think, ladies. Use your heads.
