Supermodel Hilary Rhoda Considering Career As Sideline Reporter?
There is a nugget of information buried in a Hilary Rhoda Elle Magazine spread that got our attention.
At 22, Rhoda is primed for a huge jump in exposure thanks to an impressive 2009 and the news that she dropped in the upcoming April issue of Elle (for some reason interviewing a Dan Marino wannabe).
A Redskins fan, Rhoda could be an immediate hit as a sideline reporter.
“I’d like to get into sports journalism,” Rhoda told Elle.
Yes. Yes. Yes.
We’d welcome you with open arms. Suzy Kolber can go back into the studio where she belongs breaking down film. ESPN could put Hilary through sideline reporter boot camp by having her cover the College World Series, followed by a few college football games and then throw her right into Dallas Cowboys Stadium for Monday Night Football.
As Erin Andrews fades away from her sideline career, there needs to be a hot chick to step up. We figured Melanie Collins was going to be carrying the torch. She’s too busy banging that hockey playing boyfriend and twittering.
It looks like Rhoda just needs to be approached by some dorky suit guy from ESPN/Fox Sports. Someone needs to get off their ass and make this happen.
