2010 Olympic Primer: Ski Jumping Can Go Wrong When Faces Meet Snow
…in preparation for the 2010 Olympics, Busted Coverage will provide readers with videos, naked Olympian photos (hopefully), links, etc. of ‘stuff’ we think will get you in the mood for sports you only care about every four years.
Today we visit Olympic ski jumping where some guy gets wacked out on speed and his coach tapes skies onto his boots and pushes him down a giant hill where the objective is distance and how to survive.
Sometimes things go wrong. That’s when Busted Coverage takes notice and brings the action to the masses.

Premise of Video: We suspect this video might be old but since ski jumping is way off our radar we’ll pretend this happened in December. Anyway, ski jump guy puts in his iPod buds and cranks some Interpol before take off. Things are going as expected until what appears to be gust of wind ruins Michel’s jump.
Climax of Video: Dude, look at his face hit the snow. If that isn’t climax for you we feel you don’t have a conscious. This is what winter sports is all about to Busted Coverage.
Conclusion: Bob Costas will turn tragedy into triumph. Tune in February 12 when Bob and his gang of tear jerkers get NBC off and running for two weeks of fireside chats.
