Thief Poses As Cubs Prospect Tyler Colvin, Steals $50,000 Truck
What professional athlete would you pose as if you were going to walk into a car dealership and want to buy a $50,000 truck? Us? We’ll be Mike Napoli because he’s cool, plays our high school position and has women all over his .270 hitting ass.
For Elko, Nevada thief Matt Van Meter he went with Tyler Colvin of the Chicago Cubs. Then a dealership, obviously impressed by his credentials as a highly rated prospect, gave Van Meter the truck with the understanding he’d pay in the morning.
Pffft, yeah right, suckers!

Can you seriously believe the economy is THAT bad where a car salesman will oblige that request?
