The ladies love him. The men want to be him.

Mark “Dirty” Sanchez isn’t to October yet and he’s beginning his East Coast dominance that is sure to spread to western New Jersey any minute.

Sanchez’s #6 ranks only behind Brett Favre’s Minny #4 as the hottest single player numbered jersey at NFLShop.com.

Why is “Dirty” such a phenom? Some of his allure has to do with the sexual innuendo associated with that jersey and NFL fan isn’t above some Dirty Sanchez fun.

The spread of the name Mark “Dirty” Sanchez is so rampant that even college newspapers are using it to refer to the Jets star.

Rookie Quarterback Mark “Dirty” Sanchez tore it up in his first start for the New York Jets, passing for 272 yards. Coming out the gates so well one would figure that he blasts some nasty pump-up music before games (ex: Disturbed, Slayer, Lil’ Wayne, “Eye of the Tiger,” that overplayed Fort Minor song).
