You have no idea how many “Check Out My Gambling Picks” emails get through our email spam filter. Some retard in Muncie, Indiana thinks he’s the next Jimmy “The Greek” and blasts us with ‘can’t misses.’

While we appreciate the enthusiasm of these gambling gurus, the links never include poon. Enter Busted Coverage Special Assignment Editor Art McGregor’s new series – Pick Six.

Today I give you Danielle from Iowa. She doesn’t go to the University of Iowa or anything, but I thought I’d throw the Hawkeyes a boner (typo intended). The entire college football world owes those same Hawkeyes 10 million thank yous for saving the Big 10 from another national title game embarrassment. Instead we got to see Oklahoma lose in the title game for like the ninth time in the past decade!!

I watched the PSU-Iowa game at a bar in Evanston, Ill (they exist!). Served as the second quarter of a memorable day. We went to this bar called Merkle’s in Wrigleyville later in the evening. My body JC (a UC Bearcat fan … Cattitude!) couldn’t convince the bartender to put on the Cincinnati-West Virginia game. It only was in double overtime. Not a great game or anything.

He had asked him to turn on ESPNU and the gentleman struggled with finding the channel for a few minutes. (Why don’t the people who work at bars EVER know what channels are on their television!?!?) When asked what game we were looking for, the bartender scoffed and said, “Can’t, I’m busy.”

OVERALL: 8-10 LAST WEEK: 2-4

Arkansas +17.5 over ALABAMA (3:30 p.m., CBS)
This line looks too good to be true. If you notice my 2-4 record this past week, you probably can tell it is.

Iowa vs. PENN STATE under 41 (8 p.m., ABC)
Remember when these two played a 6-4 game? No no … not in baseball. Or soccer. Or some other low scoring sport. OK, you don’t remember. I do. Won’t be 6-4, but could be 23-6 or 27-10.

Washington State vs. USC over 54.5 (10:15 p.m., FSN)
USC will score at will. WSU is good for 10-14 points and not much else. Love the over here.

Tennessee Titans +2.5 over NEW YORK JETS (1 p.m., CBS)
They say when a team isn’t good enough to be 3-0 or bad enough to be 0-3 …

Cleveland Browns vs. BALTIMORE RAVENS under 38.5 (1 p.m., CBS)
The Browns will score AT MOST 13 points and more likely 10, 6 or 0. Will Baltimore score four touchdowns? We’ll see.

ARIZONA CARDINALS -2.5 over Indianapolis Colts (8:20 p.m., NBC)
Just a feeling. It’s not that I haven’t been impressed with the Colts, it’s just … I can see the Cards winning this one by a field goal and a field goal isn’t worth 2.5 points because they don’t give half points in football.
