Ok, so the headline was a little harsh.

But it is a call to arms for women out there who might have had Jim Leyritz on a pedestal. He’s a pretty angry guy. Avoid him.

Take the incident this week where he allegedly drilled his ex-wife a couple of times, leaving her scrambling to find help as the former Yank went into a rage.

She fled to a neighbor’s house and called the cops, who found her bleeding from a cut above one eye – and streaks of blood on the walls of the couple’s home.

Not good, Jimmy. This isn’t going to make the manslaughter case any easier.
