Ahh, the irony.

Page Six is all over the gossip of the new chick being passed around by the New York athletic fraternity.

Hilary Rhoda was recently linked to Mark Sanchez and now happens to be out on the town with Sean Avery. Yeah, this is news because Sean Avery used to make fun of sloppy seconds and because it appears Sanchez is now on the market for all those ladies out there panting for a first rounder.

The curvy brunette looked very cozy with Ranger Sean Avery last night at Brother Jimmy’s in Murray Hill. “They were doing shots of Jack Daniels and Patron, and she had her hands on his arm as they canoodled at the corner of the bar.”

Rhoda does shots of Jack? Someone needs to put a ring on her finger.

Page Six’s headline makes it seem that Sanchez and the SI model are still together. Well, being male and once in the 24-year-old range we understand this situation.

Sanchez was boning Rhoda, got busy with the Jets, told her it wasn’t going to work out. Avery meets her at a GQ event, chats her up about doing shots and talking fashion. She’s smitten and off she goes.

Or something like that.
