Attention Bloggers: USC Song Girls Getting Soaked At Swim With Mike…RIGHT NOW!

This is about as live blogging as BC will ever get.

Right this minute (started at 8 a.m. PST) the USC Song Girls are getting wet for charity.

Today is Swim With Mike and you all know what that means. Pete Carroll will take off his shirt, middle-aged men will swoon and bloggers will go nuts over the next 24 hours trying to be first to snag images of the ladies in their bikinis.

What is Swim With Mike?

Swim With Mike is an annual swim-a-thon held to raise money for the Physically Challenged Athletes Scholarship Fund. Established in 1981, the Swim was scheduled to be a one-time event organized by friends and teammates on behalf of Mike Nyeholt, a three time All-American swimmer, who was paralyzed from the chest down following a motorcycle accident suffered in January of 1981.

The Swim With Mike organization has raised over $8.7 million and has spawned similar swims across the country.

Expected to be in attendance: several USC football players who enjoy opportunity to swim with Song Girls and probably a celeb or two.

Up next for the Song Girls will be the annual summer trip to Tahoe to get wet with the band.
