From The Couch: Don Cherry Braves Wrigley Field Bleachers, Bobby Hull Rocks Leopard Ear Muffs, Doobie Brothers Do Orange Bowl And Song Girls
Don Cherry trumps NBC coverage by visiting with Bleacher Bums.
Welcome to our new feature for 2009, From The Couch.
The editors don’t have time to dick around with YouTube video mashups that most will never watch. So, we’ve come up with the idea to DVR or actually watch sporting events and bring you screen shots of last night’s action via a camera, from our couches.
Hopefully we’ll have some obscure stuff that wasn’t via national TV channels.
Busted Coverage could use your help on this one. Have a shot from your television that deserves to be seen by the masses?
Take a photo and send it to us. We’ll make you famous.
Sorry, college football.
You are in jeopardy of losing New Year’s Day to the biggest party going, The NHL’s Winter Classic.
Folks, hockey is onto something with this game. It’s exciting, the fans are drunk and it’s unique to a single day. Yesterday belonged to the NHL and we haven’t been able to say that since last Jan. 1.
Sense a trend?
And to Fox…what the f!@k are the Doobie Brothers doing rocking the Orange Bowl?
Finally, kudos to NBC and Weather Channel bad boy Jim Cantore for allowing someone to paint a peacock on his bald head for the Winter Classic.
If you have that photo, we could use it.Â
