It was difficult to find a United States newspaper that trumped Obama-McCain coverage this morning with anything sports related.

We did find football sneaking onto 4 fronts in states such as Texas, Georgia and Florida.

Seems legitimate. You can expect such coverage of Georgia football from the hometown newspaper, but the Houston Chronicle, not really in the immediate Austin/Lubbock market, went with a 4-column photo of Texas/Tech.

That’s pretty impressive considering every single paper in America is facing its final Sunday of presidential election money-making newspapers.

Paper fronts after the jump. (H/T to Newseum)
