Shea Stadium Family Toilet Sign Fetching Big Dollars

A sign for an idiot who has the money to wipe his ass with it.

The economy may be in shambles. American retirement accounts might have lost $3 trillion dollars.

But that hasn’t stopped idiot Mets fan from bidding big money for ridiculous pieces of Shea Stadium that had nothing to do with baseball or life, for that matter.

At least one idiot has bid $185 for a family toilet sign that “hung in Shea Stadium during the 2008 season, the Mets’ final season at Shea. The sign was located in the Upper Level on the first base side,” according to an auction listing at Mets.com.

But there are even more auction morons out there.

Current bid: $150

Exit Sign

This sign hung in Shea Stadium during the 2008 season, the Mets’ final season at Shea. The sign was located in the corridor on the Press Level, near Suites 13 and 14.

Proper ID Sign

This sign hung in Shea Stadium’s tunnel level during the 2008 season, the Mets’ final season at Shea. Both clubhouses, bullpens, grounds crew stations, player interview areas, batting cages, and stadium operations offices were housed in the tunnel level.

An escalator sign that doesn’t even say Shea Stadium

This two-sided Ramp Directional Sign was used inside Gate B of Shea Stadium to direct fans to the different seating levels within the stadium. The first side directs fans up to the Upper Level. The second side alerts fans they are on the Mezzanine Level.

There is an idiot born every 15 minutes and he’ll end up rooting for the Mets.
