College Football Preview: Jenni Carlson Is Back, In Better Shape & Ready To Vote On The Heisman
Welcome to our 2008 College Football Preview…Busted Coverage style.
By now you know we care very little about Xs and Os. This site is dedicated to absurdity in the world of sports and we start off the new football season with a look at one of 2007′s biggest stars.
The last time we checked in with Jenni Carlson of The Oklahoman (watch her Internet TV channel), she was being blasted by Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy in one of the biggest viral moments in sports history.
Millions of people have watched as Gundy destroys Carlson in front of her peers.
That type of moment could destroy a career. Not Ms. Carlson’s. She’s back with a new body and a new job as a Heisman pundit.
Besides the weight loss, Carlson agreed to become a Heisman vote at Heismanpundit.com, a leading online authority on the biggest individual trophy in college football.
The panel according to the Orlando Sentinel:
Mike Bianchi of the Sentinel, Olin Buchanan and Tom Dienhart of Rivals.com, Bruce Feldman of ESPN.com, Ted Lewis of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Jenni Carlson of The Oklahoman, Austin Murphy, B.J. Schecter and Stewart Mandel of Sports Illustrated, and Dick Weiss of the New York Daily News.
In other words, you’ll be seeing plenty more of Carlson throughout the season.
Somewhere Mike Gundy is fuming.
