It appears to have been a quiet weekend in the sports world. We’ll guarantee it picks up tomorrow.

Late Addition: Not quite a cuff ‘em but Will Allen seems to have gotten in a money-related disagreement at a Bed Bath & Beyond.

It appears University of Akron basketball player Rydell Brooks will be missing summer conditioning after being arrested this weekend for firing shots at police, according to reports out of northeast Ohio. The fuzz says Brooks fired at them after fleeing a vehicle. Looks like someone will be losing his scholarship.
Not sports related but worth reporting: An intervention might be needed on the Cal Berkeley campus. Yet another student has died. This time the guy was found unconscious just hours after graduating. The grad apparently fell off the roof of a 3-story building.
