It’s official. Women dominated the racing world this weekend. The Press-Telegram reports that ESPN’s hottie pit reporter Jaime Little won Saturday’s 34th Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. It was only the second time (Dara Torres, 2002) a woman has won this race.

A checkered flag error nearly cost Little the victory as it took 11 laps instead of 10 to bring home the title. Producer Brad Lewis had a huge lead for 6 laps, but a John Salley crash brought out a yellow, giving Little the chance to grab the top spot.

“I was pushing it too much, and I double-checked my mirrors because I saw (Mike) Skinner coming up on Jamie,” Lewis said. “I had it (won), no doubt about it. I made a mistake. I’ve never driven before. It happens.”

We’re still trying to find photos of Ms. Little doused in champagne like Danica Patrick. Stand by. Until then, enjoy these personal Little pics.
