Brooke Helvie, Booted From American Idol, Crowned 2008 Miss University Of Florida

Meet Brooke Helvie. She was crowned 2008 Miss University of Florida Monday night in Gainesville. But that isn’t the biggest moment in her life lately. She is better known nationally as the pageant chick who recently hugged on Simon Cowell after an American Idol audition. Helvie has since received the boot which led to her win in the UF contest.

Helvie got right to her platform after the heated competition.

“I just want to make better relations between UF and Gainesville and the pageant,” Helvie said while trying to keep her crown from falling off her head.

We smell big things for this chick. Maxim, BullzEye, WithLeather, Playboy or even an ESPN sideline reporter. The sky’s no limit.
